We believe that every second matters when a life is on the line.
Every day, we receive calls and messages from across Delhi NCR about dogs who are injured, sick, abandoned, or in life-threatening situations.
Some are hit by fast-moving vehicles. Some are lying in drains, unable to move. Some have maggot wounds, fractures, burns, or are simply collapsing from weakness.
Without help they won’t survive.
That’s why our Rescue Program exists - to act fast, reach the spot, and get the animal the medical attention they need in time.
🐾 Why Timely Rescue is So Important
- When an animal is suffering on the street, every minute counts. Delayed action often leads to:
- Severe infections
- Permanent disability
- Unnecessary suffering
- And sadly, even death
- By responding quickly and responsibly, we give these animals a real fighting chance.
🚑 What Happens When We Rescue
- When we get a call or spot an emergency:
- We assess the situation immediately
- If needed, we arrange transportation to a vet or boarding
- The animal receives proper medical treatment (surgery, IVs, wound cleaning, etc.)
- Post-treatment, we continue monitoring, boarding, or rehabilitation
- If the dog is fit to return post recovery, we ensure a safe release
- If they cannot be released, we work on long-term care or adoption
- We also support fellow community feeders and rescuers when they are unable to take action due to financial or logistical reasons.
💛 How You Can Help
Our rescue operations are completely donation-based. We often cover:
- Ambulance or transport costs
- Vet bills, surgeries, dressings
- Boarding for recovery and rehabilitation
- Medications and aftercare
The cost of a single rescue can range anywhere between ₹5,000 to ₹20,000, depending on the severity and duration of treatment.
